Watch ICC T20 World Cup 2016 Live Streaming Online

Watch ICC T20 World Cup 2016 Live Streaming
The biggest T20 event is here! And it is being played in India. What better place can you ask for? It has gradually grown as a T20 cricket loving nation, thanks to the IPL. While the initial stages of the T20 world cup consists of the warm up matches and the qualifier round, the actual T20 preliminary round matches begin from 13th March. But before that, one shouldn't miss the exciting qualifier round and some real big matches in the warm up stage. Watch ICC T20 world cup 2016 live streaming on HotStar and enjoy live telecast, scores on Star Sports HD and DoorDarshan (DD National Sports) network in India.

We have wrote a lot about the records and statistics from all the previous editions of the T20 world cup. You can check if you love to know the history of the tournament. Coming back to the live action, teams like Bangladesh, Netherlands, Oman, Ireland, Afghanistan, etc face each other in the qualifiers. Big ones like India, South Africa, West Indies, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Australia, New Zealand and England would play few warm ups before they kick off the preliminary round from 13th March.

Team India has been exceptional amongst all the teams in the recent past. They have run through teams like Australia, Sri Lanka, Pakistan and Bangladesh in the last few months winning almost all the matches. They have raced to the top of the ICC rankings and stayed there for two months. It's an ideal scenario for the hosts to enter the world cup. The team has found the right balance playing at almost all conditions, be it the bouncy pitches of Australia or slow and hard pitches of Indian sub-continent.

Australia, Pakistan and Sri Lanka look unpredictable. But the first one looks the strongest amongst the three. With big hitters and quick bowlers in the squad, Australia can be the team to beat. Pakistan and Sri Lanka haven't yet found the right combination and they might find one during the warm up matches.

New Zealand and South Africa are easily the second and third strongest teams in the T20 world cup 2016. New Zealand has an edge over South Africa in terms of better performances in the critical matches. South Africa has an undesired history of losing critical matches in the ICC events.

England and West Indies too would have a point to prove. West Indies is plagued with injuries and hence England looks a better outfit. England has produced some good performances since the 2011 Cricket World Cup and they would be eager to clinch the title here in India.

Loads of matches ahead, lot of quality cricket to follow. Every day will treat you with a great match or two! Enjoy the T20 world cup 2016 live streaming and telecast on HotStar, Star Sports and DD National channels.

Watch India vs Srilanka T20 Series 2016 Streaming Online

After a successful tour to Australia, the Indian team continues its preparation for ICC T20 World Cup 2016 with another bilateral T20 series. This time the team plays at home against Sri Lanka for a three match T20 International series. Watch the action live on Star Sports and HotStar live match mobile app in India.

MS Dhoni who was under the scanner after team's dismal performances in the limited version of the game is now again in the limelight. Although his batting isn't that great and he seems uncomfortable while hitting the big ones, still team under him did a decent job in the ODI series and clinched the T20 series against Australia. This is a good time for him to click when the T20 world cup is just a month away.

Virat Kohli who sparkled throughout the Australian tour gets a well deserved break. He is rested for the T20 series against Sri Lanka. Ajinkya Rahane who has been a star in Indian cricket in last couple of years will replace him. Indian batting line up looks pretty strong with the likes of Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, Rahane, Raina, Yuvraj and Dhoni.

The bowling line up which looked upsetting in the ODI series did well in the T20 series down under. The Indian conditions will favour the spinners that includes the likes of Ashwin and Jadeja.

Here is the schedule of India vs Srilanka T20 series:

1st Twenty20 match at Pune
9 Feb 2016

2nd Twenty20 match at Ranchi
12 Feb 2016

3rd Twenty20 match at Vishakhapatnam
14 Feb 2016

The squads for both the teams are mentioned below:
Sri Lanka - Dinesh Chandimal (captain and wicket keeper), Dushmantha Chameera, Niroshan Dickwella (wicket keeper), Tillakaratne Dilshan, Milinda Siriwardana, Asela Gunaratne, Danushka Gunathilaka, Chamara Kapugedera, Dilhara Fernando, Thisara Perera, Binura Fernando, Seekkuge Prasanna, Kasun Rajitha, Sachithra Senanayake, Dasun Shanaka, Jeffrey Vandersay.

India vs Australia 2016 Live Streaming on HotStar and Star Sports HD

While Indians don't find too much of success while travelling abroad, the Australians think only about 'winning' be at home or abroad. Although Indians are one of the proven toughest competitors for Australia in cricket, they haven't found much success in Australia. Hopefully the Indian captain MS Dhoni would bounce back hard and bring success to the team before the much anticipated ICC T20 World Cup 2016. Catch all the action live on Star Sports HD network in India with live Hindi and English commentary telecast. Enjoy live streaming also on HotStar live mobile app.

India has played 118 ODI matches against Australia, won 40 and lost 68. This still looks fine but when India plays Australia in Australia, the record worsens. Out of the 43 ODI matches in Australia, India has won just 10 matches. The T20 head to head doesn't matter much because Indians haven't played as many T20 International matches as the other teams. And even winning a T20 match against Australia in Australia is a daunting task.

Return of Yuvraj Singh in the T20 squad have raised some eyebrows but his winning attitude would definitely add value to the Indian line up - irrespective of the format he is selected in. Some had a view that he was better suited for the ODI format.

Let us now have a look at the schedule:

OneDay International Matches Ind vs Aus

January 12, 2016: Australia vs India, 1st ODI - W.A.C.A. Ground, Perth

January 15, 2016: Australia vs India, 2nd ODI - The Gabba, Brisbane

January 17, 2016: Australia vs India, 3rd ODI - Melbourne Cricket Ground, Melbourne

January 20, 2016: Australia vs India, 4th ODI - Manuka Oval, Canberra

January 23, 2016: Australia vs India, 5th ODI - Sydney Cricket Ground, Sydney

T20 International Matches Ind vs Aus

January 26, 2016: Australia vs India, 1st T20I - Adelaide Oval, Adelaide

January 29, 2016: Australia vs India, 2nd T20I - Melbourne Cricket Ground, Melbourne

January 31, 2016: Australia vs India, 3rd T20I - Sydney Cricket Ground, Sydney

MS Dhoni declared his retirement from test cricket while he was on tour to Australia last time. Then he had a good cricket world cup campaign where the team reached the semis but were outsmarted by Australians in the semis. Since then Dhoni hasn't tasted much of a success. Infact Virat Kohli's success march as a test captain has raised questions on Dhoni's continuity as a captain in ODI and T20 format. Dhoni has made it clear that he is concentrating only till the T20 world cup and hasn't thought beyond that - right approach!

This is for sure that we all are going to be served with a fabulous treat of quality cricket. These two tough competitors have always produced some exceptional cricket matches.

Lot more cricket to follow. U19 Cricket World Cup 2016 kicks off this month in Bangladesh. Even the much awaited MCL 2020 league begins this month.
